03. Failure to avoid, refuse, or comply with doping tests

If, after being notified of a doping test, you avoid the people involved in the test, refuse the test, or fail to complete the test procedures, you will be in violation of the anti-doping rules for avoiding or refusing to undergo the test.

[Criteria for Suspension Period]
If JADA proves the violation was intentional: 4 years
years If the offender proves the violation was unintentional: 2 years

[Violation Case]
​​Case 2012-009
: In February 2012, a competitor who won the men's 74kg division at the All Japan Taekwondo Championships avoided a post-match doping test, citing the risk of missing his return flight. This resulted in a doping violation.
The athlete was penalized with the forfeiture of his record and a two-year suspension.
